General description:

Inconel alloy 751 is nickel-chromium material similar to inconel alloy X-750. By increasing aluminum content, it has greater precipitation hardening. It is widely used as exhaust valves in internal-combustion engines. Such alloy offers high strength at operating temperatures, high hot hardness for wear resistance, and corrosion resistance in hot exhaust gases containing lead oxide, sulfur, bromine and chlorine.
